Open Hard Drive Destruction at the Recycling Center

The City of Yonkers is giving residents and local businesses the opportunity to discard old hard drives at the Yonkers Recycling Center on Saturday, November 19 from 7:30 am to 4:15 pm.

Department of Public Works (DPW) employees and members of the City’s IT Department will be on-site to remove, dispose and demolish the hard drives properly.

DPW employees will wear the appropriate safety equipment and use tools to destroy the hard drive.
