WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY: A Yonkers man was killed while driving northbound on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the Town of Greenburgh.
State Police said Greenburgh Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived before troopers but were unable to remove the victim, Paul Fitzpatrick, 21, before his vehicle was engulfed in flames when it struck a tree.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
