ELMSFORD: Veterinarian Dr. Javier Diaz Accused Of Choking And Hitting Animals

WESTCHESTER SPCA: Photos out of Main Street Animal Hospital in Elmsford of Dr. Javier Diaz, as one photo shows him appear to choke a dog.

The Elmsford police department, says it obtained videos showing Diaz abusing and aggressively handling animals.“ 

They also state that he also kicked a three legged German Shepard. 

In court, it was learned that three employees reported Dr. Diaz and prosecutors alleged that Diaz also threatened three staff members.

He’s charged with forgery, six counts of animal cruelty and assault.

Investigators believe there could be more victims.

A sign on the front door of the animal hospital said that the Elmsford Building Department had closed the business after finding exposed wires.

Another sign told customers to call another clinic for assistance.

Attorney information for Diaz was not immediately available.
