WESTCHESTER COUNTY: Richard Gere's Home Sale Will Set Sells Record

POUND RIDGE, NY: An Estate listed in October 2021 for $28 million at 81 Lyndel Road, was the home of “Pretty Woman” actor Richard Gere.

It has been sold and went into contract on May 5, according to real estate publication Mansion Global.

The final sale price is not yet public, butit has the potential to set a new sale record in the area.

The most expensive residential property to have sold in Pound Ridge in recent history was 30-acre estate that sold for $9.8 million.

Gere purchased the eight-bedroom, nine-and-a-half bathroom estate in January 1986 for $1.5 million, according to Realtor.com records.

he Lyndel Road home has 11,658 square feet of living space that includes stables, a private lake, a pool and a soccer field.

The home sits on almost 50 acres of land that contains five structures, according to the listing.
