MEMORIAL DAY: In Westchester County Ceremonies And Parades

ARDSLEY: The Memorial Day parade, hosted by Ardsley American Legion, begins at 11:30 a.m. and will step off from the intersection of Ashford Avenue and Park Avenue.

ELMSFORD: A parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. stepping off from Legion Park on East Main Street.

The parade will head west on Main Street to South Stone Avenue and end at Village Hall. A service will be held next to Village Hall following the parade.

Refreshments to follow the service.

MOUNT VERNON: A parade will begin at 10 a.m. stepping off from the corner of Park Avenue and 1st Street.

The parade turns right onto West 3rd Street, turns right again onto South 4th Avenue, marches along Gramatan Avenue and ending at Hartley Park. 

Also at St. Paul's Church a commemoration will begin at 11 a.m. The commemoration will also include a rededication of two Civil War soldiers' gravestones.

NEW ROCHELLE: A ceremony will be held at the Memorial Plaza beginning at 10:30 a.m. A second ceremony will be held at noon at Hudson Park.

TARRYTOWN: The parade will begin at 9 a.m. on Main Street in Tarrytown and continue to Patriots Park where a veterans memorial ceremony will take place.

VALHALLA: American Legion Post 1038 will host a parade that will begin at 9:30 a.m. stepping off behind Valhalla Methodist Church onto Westlake Drive.

The parade then heads south down Columbus Avenue.

A ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. at the Village Green gazebo.

Refreshments will follow the ceremony.

WHITE PLAINS:
 The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. stepping off of Church Street and make its way to Main Street, then on North Broadway. The parade will end at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in North Broadway's White Plains Rural Cemetery. A ceremony will be held at the cemetery.

YORKTOWN: A parade will march from the town hall's patriot garden beginning at 11 a.m. The parade will proceed to Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Field and Track's flagpole.

YONKERS:
 The City of Yonkers Memorial Day Ceremony - Veterans Memorial Day Plaza on South Broadway at 9:00 a.m.

Crestwood Memorial Day Ceremony & Parade -American Legion Plaza (Vermont Terrace/Thompson Street) at 10:30 a.m.

Catholic Slovak Memorial Day Ceremony -Victory Park at 50 Lockwood Avenue at 12:00 p.m.

Yonkers City VFW Post 1666 Memorial Day Service - 574 Yonkers Avenue at 1:00 p.m.

Charles Bajart Post AL 1122 Memorial Day Ceremony & Parade - 840 McLean Avenue at 6:00 p.m.
